No School Today!!!!

Well, I've been really excited about no school today and thought we'd all sleep late. Carson has really been trying hard to stay in his bed all night long and is so proud of himself when he does, no to mention us. But for some reason last night they both ended up in our bed at some point. The sad part is we never know when they arrive, I guess we're so exhausted. Anyway, Emilia had to have been dreaming or something b/c she was a beast, kicking, squirming, moaning, etc. So at 5 I got up to check the temperature. I had debated back and forth if I would go run or not. Although my outside thermometer said 37 the wind sounded really bad, so after much more back and forth, I decided to go back to bed and enjoy my late sleeping, or what I thought would be, but I never did go back to sleep. Anyway, I stayed there, snuggled up with Carson, while Emilia actually slept and we got up around 8:30, then Emilia around 9. Since, we've been playing, doing laundry, and cleaning house. I was not suppose to work again until Wednesday but someone called at 6 and then again at 7 this morning to see if I might work for them tonight. Since Vince has now quit his job in Memphis, I decided it might not be a bad idea. So, I've started on supper for tonight as well and shortly we will be laying down to read books and take a nap before getting up, finishing supper and getting ready for work.
It sure is nice to be able to stay in and stay warm and I sure enjoy my little boy being home with Emilia and me all day!!!
